Nach ihrem Abschluss 2016 an der Taipei National University of the Arts im Fachbereich Theaterdesign entwickelte sie mit ihrem Kollektiv Werke, die dramaturgische Elemente des „Slow Cinema“ in Taiwan anwandten (See Sound Mountain 2017; Goddess descend 2016 &#38;amp; 2017; 3-Chou-Guo-Yao 2018). Seit 2019 studierte sie Bühnenbild im Masterstudiengang an der Zürcher Hochschule der Künste, wo sie sich mit der philosophischen Dimension des „Zuschauens“ in Theatersituationen auseinandersetzte (Herr der Ringe, 2020; Delay, 2021; revision, 2022). Dabei ließ sie sich unter anderem von Konzepten wie der Spaziergangswissenschaft( Lucius Burckhardt), der Dauer( Bergsonismus) und dem Nicht-Ort( Marc Augé) inspirieren. Dies führte zur Erforschung der Grenzen verschiedener Medien und lässt sie interagieren, um Erfahrungen einer multimedialen Realität neu zu erschaffen. (M.A.-Thesis: „How do theatrical moments and the daily experience emphasize each other?”, 2021). Seit 2022 lebt und arbeitet sie in Berlin und ist in den Bereichen Bühnenbild, Licht, Lichttechnik, Kostüme sowie in der Entwicklung von Performances in Kollektivformen mit verschiedenen Künstlergruppen tätig, darunter revision im Mousonturm, ANAL-IZANDO im Ballhaus Ost, Matters of Rhythm in den Uferstudios, Kampnagel und Tanzplattform, STEEL im ada Studio, Translating Adorn&#38;lt;3 im Lathouse Zürich, After The Sun in den Uferstudios sowie SWIPE/MATCH/LOVE im Theater K Oldenburg.

definition of a mountain. Height, volume, steepness, distance 
between mountains have all been chosen as ways to define a mountain. 
: “Lived through it all in a dream. Don’t know what to do in real life.” 
: “Haha, but you have to be alive to continue dreaming.”


“See Sound Mountain” is a stage play that invites the audience to participate in the actors’ process of “attempting to recreate a certain state of experience”.

Two actors are placed in the same space for a given amount of time and create (or enter) both physical and formless states. The audience may take part in the play by entering the living space (as in the stage).
We lived in the venue for two whole weeks. During the rehearsal process, we kept going back and forth between “the role”, “the artist”, and “the audience”, wandering and doubting. Our promotion text usually consists of ambiguous phrases, for we want the audience to feel confused about the play before the performance. We believe the most satisfying way to watch a play is to receive the “complete experience” only when one is in the moment of the play, and can walk away with the information that one desires. (This is a non verbal performance. Two women perform everyday actions until two men show up singing in the very end. The two women fall asleep on the stage after completing the last of their actions.)

《觀音山》是一個邀請觀眾們參與我們「試圖重現某完整經驗狀態」的戲劇演出。主要的演出內容為兩個演員，在未知的時間軸中，共處在一個空間內，在該期間所延伸出來所有[有形]以及[無形]的模樣。希望透過邀請觀眾進到我們生活的場域（即是演出空間），來參與（觀望、觀看、觀察、品嚐、懷疑）這個似乎作為一種表達或出口的演出。也許你們也有類似經驗，但作為一種新的嘗試，希望邀請你們來與我們共同體驗。

For us, the movement serve as a means of entertainment as well as an observation. New Year’s Eve is defined as the end of one year and beginning of the next; most people are in a state of optimism and contentment on this day.

We fabricated a deity “Niang Niang” among the Taiwanese public. At the same time, we created a ceremony that everyone can take part in. When people are following the steps of the ceremony, are they immersing themselves in the falsified image of the deity due to the “rules” that we have made up?

The ceremony involves three people: Niang Niang and two helpers. Niang Niang is the deity (She will be dressed to look as if she’s a famous life-saving Goddess in Taiwan), and the helpers are worshippers who will come in contact with the public. Niang Niang will change into costumes during the New Year’s Eve fireworks countdown and start parading the streets when the fireworks end.

The photographer will station himself while the Niang Niang and the helpers commence the fabricated ceremony to welcome the people who have finished the countdown.


利用跨年這個特殊的時間點，選擇做出此行動，對我們來說，其具有純然娛樂以及觀察的目的性。跨年被定義為一年的完結與新開始，大多民眾在這個時間點多為樂觀及幸福的情緒心裡狀態。


我們假造一個台灣民眾有辨識度的神「娘娘」，同時透過一定的流程，讓大家能輕易參與其中。民眾在當下依循儀式的過程裡，他們是否會因為我們建立了某種程度的秩序，而在某層面上投入我們假造的形象中？


儀式設定此行動為三人為主體，娘娘及身旁兩位金童玉女，娘娘為神，金童玉女設定為信徒與大眾接觸。在跨年煙火爆發時換裝，煙火結束閃亮出現開始遊街，攝影師會選擇一個定點，金童玉女則與娘娘開始進行假造的儀式，迎接跨完年（看完煙火）後的民眾。


娘娘下凡，啟動入世，為世界以及台灣祈福。)
